  2. I'm thankful for my little brother, who's away volunteering in the Ukraine and can't be with us in person this Thanksgiving, but who's been my best friend and in many ways my role model since I was tiny. He's growing up to be a good man.

  3. every day I am thankful for my amazing sisters (I have 3). especially my youngest sister Olivia who survived a traumatic brain injury just a little over two years ago. she had to re-learn all of life's "basics" all over again and has had an amazing recovery. she radiates beauty from within. since then my eyes have been opened even wider to the all the beautiful, wonderful things we have here on earth. each day a gift of realization not to take advantage of the time we have here with loved ones. I am thankful for the four seasons - the way the autumn leaves change color, the first snow and how beautiful it looks on the trees, the first flower to pop in spring and the beauty of a summer storm. I'm thankful for all the animals and creatures big and small (especially the bees that make so much of Mother Earth's beauty possible). the smell of pine trees and patchouli. waking up to the one I love every day. I'm thankful for wonderful family and friends in my life and all those I've met along my journey so far (good and bad, they've helped shaped who I am). I'm thankful for the sun and the stars and the way the wind blows through my hair. I'm thankful for so many things and I try to give thanks and share love every day! happy thanksgiving Peter & Juwels!! thanks for sharing your stories with us and making beeeautiful candles! <3

  4. I'm thankful for the organization- Reading Partners- that give children in low income communities a chance to improve their reading and comprehension skills. Some days, it's challenging for me as a volunteer, since I don't speak Spanish, but nevertheless, it is always gratifying. To have this org is pretty amazing because reading can be powerful in so many ways.
